A small personal project space. Keeping things simple, useful and open.

About
This site is a sandbox for experiments — network notes, small tools, and occasional write-ups. I rent a small VPS and use it to learn things the hard way, so you don't have to.
Recent notes
Migrated TLS renewal from standalone to webroot mode — no more port conflicts with nginx on :80.
Disk full again? journalctl --vacuum-size, apt autoremove, and a logrotate pass fixed 80% of my space problems.
Switched scheduled jobs from cron to systemd timers. Logs are cleaner, and failures actually show up in journalctl.
Hardened SSH: key-only authentication, password login disabled. Took ten minutes, worth every second.
A minimal checklist for any new Debian box: nftables default-deny, unattended-upgrades, and a backup plan before touching anything else.
Why I stopped chasing fancy dashboards and just read the logs. Structured output beats pretty graphs for debugging.
